SER shielded from the negative aura of SEO

There have been some recent discussions about how SEO is being seen as evil by using "snake oil" tactics while editing pages. By snake oil I mean shady tactics such as using CSS to mask elements of a page for one example. While most SEOs do not have bad intentions with their actions it is still seen as unethical towards natural/organic listings. SER has always been about site wide development based on the subject matter instead of page editing tricks for keyword density. I used to work for a large SEO firm that touted ethical practices. I do believe they were trying to be ethical, but they just didn't understand the full scope of site wide development over page by page tweaking. Not all people who call themselves SEO are bad, but most do use bad tactic strategies as part of their project. The thing I notice about SEOs is that they don't even think they are doing anything bad.

SER is a clear methodology based on relevancy for search engines. This means we work with the entire site to identify weak unthemed areas and then we build them up with relevant information. The only page editing comes from clarification of confusing pages, by working with meta tags and page elements that need better visibility for users and the SEs. Simply put, if your site is talking about "cars" then SER will make sure you have a clear message and that you provide the most useful information about cars for visitors and the search engines.

I started in SEO and developed a passion for search, but as I grew I developed a passion for search engine relevancy.
